It’s an agenda! That’s all!

A good blunt assessment of authoritarianism trying to take over, so keep calling it out for what it is.

The more we can all discuss and expose, the greater the chance of turning things around.

Great Simon, you've said a lot without saying too much! Keep that audience captivated! Keep 'em involved before they switch back to fb!

Thank you. Decided to write in two parts as was getting quite long if just one piece.

There is two-tier policing in the UK but not the way you think. Read the article below:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/article/2024/aug/14/peaceful-protest-punished-britain-racist-rioting-real-two-tier-justice

Same in New Zealand where Maori are more likely to be prosecuted: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/525785/maori-men-more-likely-to-be-stopped-tasered-prosecuted-by-police-due-to-bias-and-structural-racism

Elon Musk is a racist, an anti-semite and a spreader of misinformation. He is NOT being called out "for having views that are ‘not right’", he is being called out for spreading misinformation and in the case of the riots tweeting "civil war is inevitable". This is the guy you want to fight for?

Honestly, far greater minds than you and me discussed all of this already - we don't need your hot take. In contrast, I'd love to see your comment on the Catholic's church role in the abuse of kids in care in NZ and what you think of the report. With their abysmal, illegal cover-ups in other countries, the delaying and hoping victims die before they have to settle a claim and generally putting their own bank balance first, do you think the approach in NZ might be any different? What is your own take on how this happened at a systemic level across so many countries?

That I would read as you have a unique perspective and it would be a brave thing to do. It's all very well commenting on UK riots, Elon Musk, Joe Rogan or whether the twitterati are arguing about but what about closer to home?
