Being named in a Hong Kong court case colours my view of the upcoming visit to New Zealand of the CCP Premier but provides a reminder of the regime he represents.
We had human rights activists in the Cold War, many of whom seemed to be trying to aid the Soviet cause. I was an Amnesty International member attempting to champion the cause of Soviet dissidents within the USSR. Sadly the freedom of conscience that Amnesty used to proclaim is now almost unheard of and the massive hand of totalitarian thought expressed in the West as 'cancelling' is ever present. We may like to think that we 'won' the Cold War but the decline of the West and the ascent of the totalitarian East is accepted without question.
Simon, thanks for that heart breaking update. The Emogi should be with a broken heart. 💔 As a lowly mechanic, with a penchant for poetry, I penned my views of the Hong Kong riots in late 2019, on Word Press. That posting was named On Fire.
Later, in 2019, December ish, I wrote a deep thought about the Human Race, also on Word Press which gave my views on what, why and how we behave, on this Blue Marvel. Giving our Creator God the glory, I ended with the statement: "Would our God have missed a trick?"
IE. Keep walking in Faith.
On or about end December 2019, my Word Press account mysteriously disappeared!( And this was BEFORE the sickness and forced injection era, you will not want to read my thoughts on that!) The bots and crawlers had, obviously singled out the grease monkey and closed his thoughts down.

In NZ we have the NZ China Friendship Society doing the CCP bidding as they were formed by members of the NZ Communist Party in the 70s.
Yes, they’re known to me as too a number of other groups.
