Yes, politicising the justice system is, at best, profoundly cynical and, at worst, terrifying. I'm enjoying your episodes on RCR, especially the interview with your friend Bruce from Maryland. In upcoming interviews with Bruce, can you ask him to explain the Electoral College system? Thanks again for all you do, and I miss your speeches in parliament. Your oratory and considered approach was fantastic!
Can do! I was going to ask him about Primaries this week, but let's do the electoral college after that. He's such a great guy and hilarious (as well as smart)
Great perspective Simon. My own time is deeply involved in my business, so my desperate attempts to "spread the word" involves rare quiet time and golden hours gleaning info from reports such as yours. The misuse of legal procedures in NZ, as you mentioned obviously refers to the Manukau circus where our Liz and Jonathan were targeted by every type of goon. Brandon and Co have taken the USA way down south and the Yanks need lots of Prayer. Keep trolling!
Yes, worryingly different approaches evident depending, it seems, on political considerations. Think too the attack in Albert Park. The latest attacker before the courts being treated with kid gloves by media.
Key work for me “Banana Republic “ we have experienced this kind of politics in Africa particularly my Country. Weaponising the Judiciary for political gain. Now America is setting a good example and all the other countries will be able to justify weaponising the Justice System.

That sounds great! The political system in The States ( to appease Bruce 😃) is so complex compared to our system. Primaries is a useful topic, too!
love it - I am having to check myself too. I am soooo used to say America 😂
I often refer to America as The US. However, how united is it? I'd appreciate your asking Bruce that question too.

Simon - Good on you for your, to me truthful evaluation of the Trump court case debacle.
It is sad that even our TV one 6pm news is not at all helpful in keeping a fair balance.
What happens in the USA is very significant for NZ and we are NOT getting accurate reporting, so goodbye to them and hello to you and others. MRH
Sadly, reporting is often very slanted. One has to read widely to get a better sense of what is happening.

you've nailed it. Sadly, many other nations with poor track records will be able to claim they are just as 'moral' as the USA.
